Add keywords to your workouts and micro templates to organize them more easily

Updated over 2 years ago

When you reach a certain number of workout sessions and micro/meso templates, it might be difficult to filter the results quickly. To address this, you can add keywords to your content.

β“˜ Note: currently keywords have to be explicitly activated by an administrator in the environment settings (Admin > Environment). They are hidden in the section Training Ground (beta). Click the section heading and then enable Keywords

You can add keywords to workout sessions and micro templates. Keywords are a list of terms separated by commas (","). You may add any number of keywords. We recommend using concise and descriptive terms.

Workout sessions

In order to add a keyword to a workout session, open the workout and use the input for Keywords

Edit Workout Session: Section for Keywords

Keywords are saved when you click the Save button at the bottom

Keywords in micro overview

Without opening the workout, you can also add keywords directly from the micro overview. This is also the way to add keywords to micro templates. Click the gear (βš™) icon and choose Rename from the menu.

Micro overview: gear menu active, "Rename" highlighted

This will open a dialog where you will find a separate section for the keywords.

Dialog: Edit Name and Description of a Micro Template

Keywords in search results

In the micro overview, you will now see the keywords:

Tags in micro overview. Meso template with two tags, workout session with other tags highlighted.

You can also search by keywords. If you enter an exact keyword in the search bar, workout templates and micro templates that have been tagged by that keyword will show up in the search results.

For more complex queries you can prefix the keyword with kw: and it will act as an filter. E.g. typing Strength kw:"Level 1" into the search bar, will show results that have the keyword Level 1 and where Strength appears somewhere in the name or description.
