User and content language

Language is key for good communication. Users can change Trayn's language and even the content prepared by trainers can be shown in other languages.

Supported languages

Besides English, we currently support the following languages

  • French (Français)

  • German (Deutsch)

  • Japanese (日本語)

  • Russian (Русский)

  • Spanish (Español)

Set your language

On the login screen, you can select from one of the available languages.

After logging in, you can always change your language from the profile page, in the Language section.

Content

Trayn will display content in the selected language, if it's available and if it's not available, fall back to English. When a trainer creates an exercise, they can choose to add translations for the supported languages.

Editing content in different languages is currently enabled for

We are in the process of adding support for additional languages. You will soon be able to edit translations for

  • Workouts

  • Microplans

  • Exercise presets

  • Test parameters

You can add a translation by editing the content.

  1. Select the languages you want to edit

  2. Add the translation.

  3. Save.

You may also want to translate some parts automatically. To do this, click the translation symbol (文A) right next to the field

Click Select languages and select the language relevant to your users

You can now enter the translation.

Translation support

If you do not speak the language, or are unsure, click the translate button (an icon showing 文A) right next to the language you want to translate to and the translation will be filled right in

You can still edit this before saving.

Using different devices

The selected language is saved on the device. So, if you happen to see different exercise names for the same exercise on the phone and on another tablet where you are logged in, check the selected language.
