Choose parameters and units

You can select custom training parameters and appropriate units.

Once you have added one or more exercises to a workout you can use training parameters, sets and units to describe how the exercises should be done.

For this, click the blue "Edit Parameters" button to the right of an exercise. A dialog will appear showing the current exercise, or - if the exercise is combined with some others to a superset - all exericses of this block:

If your exercise has a list of preferred parameters (see this guide), you can add all of them at once by clicking the "Add all Exericse Parameters" button. Otherwise, or if you want to set just some of them, you can select them one by one from the drop-down menu.

After you have added one or more parameters the form will be extended by inputs for the respective values, a button to add sets (i.e. rows), and - if applicable - additional drop-down menus will appear for selecting a unit:

Administrators can create their own custom training parameters, configure which units are available for a training parameter and whether it can be used for individualization.

If the training parameter has been set up for individualization, its referenced test parameters will show up as "% ..." in the unit drop-down:

When this is assigned to athletes who have measurements for their maximum heart rate, they will see the target heart rate calculated for them.

When you're done setting all parameters, click the "Update" button and the dialog closes. To persist your changes, you have to click "Save" in the main workout editor.
