Manage competitions from a macro plan
Updated over a year ago

While building the macro cycle plan for your athletes, an important information is when competitions will take place. The macro planning module allows you to link a macro plan to the calendar of a team or an athlete. This allows you to see and manage competition events in your macro plan. Competition events added in the calendar will show up in your macro plan and vice versa.

β“˜ This functionality is only available in the paid for full macro module.

Prerequisites

In order to manage competitions, the macro plan has to be linked to a calendar. Refer to this article for more information.

Managing competition events

Once your macro plan is linked to a calendar, an additional row titled Competition/Games will appear near the top of your plan. It shows the number of competitions for each week of the plan. Clicking in an empty table cell will open a dialog which allows you to add a new event. If there are one or more events in a week, clicking the cell will open a drop-down with the details of the competitions and a button to add further events.

Next to the details of each event, there's a menu button that allows you to edit, copy, or delete the event.

Athlete injuries

If the macro plan is linked to an athlete calendar, it will also show a row with the injuries. Injuries are displayed as bars indicating the duration of the injury. Recording and editing injuries is currently only possible through the Injuries tab in your athlete's detail page.
