When you are in the "Library" section, you can add a new exercise by clicking the green "Add Exercise” button in the upper right corner. From there, you can add all the required data for your exercise.
You can edit existing exercises by selecting an exercise from the list and clicking on the green “Edit” button. In case the exercise has already been used in a workout, all changes will show also show up there.
You can create a copy of an existing exercise by clicking the "Copy" button. A form will show up where you can modify all properties of the copied exercise before saving it.
If you are not using an exercise any longer, you may want to delete it. Read the article Delete and merge exercises to learn more about this process.

Whether you are creating a new exercise, editing or copying an existing exercise, the form will show the same controls:
At the top you can add a title and description for the exercise by editing the text fields.
Media
To insert videos, copy and paste a link to a video from YouTube or Vimeo. If you're self-hosting your videos, you can also enter the URL to MP4, WEBM, OGG, or MOV files.
Images can easily be added to the exercise from your computer by clicking on the “Select Image” button or via drag-and-drop. To delete an image, click the "Remove" button.
If you're using Dropbox, you can share links to any file there.
Parameters
Choose the preferred parameters for this exercise. These will be shown at the top when you plan a session with the exercise. You can also configure whether this exercise can be executed in sets.
Categorize
Trayn also lets you assign training areas (categories/zones/movement types) manually in order to emphasize the range of use for a specific exercise. You can also select “prime movers” (muscle groups) that are being trained and label the exercise with a difficulty level:
Equipment and more descriptions
The last section of the form allows you to add more detailed descriptions (Coaching tipps and impact) and required equipment. You can select equipment from the drop-down list or add it in the text field.
Don't forget to save the changes with the "Save" button at the bottom.
