Add trainers and athletes to a team and configure team settings for your use case

In Trayn, we want to support as many teams as possible. Every team is a little different and the default settings work for most cases. In this article, you can find out how to adapt the team settings to best suit your organization.

From the Admin area, you can open Manage Teams from the left navigation. There, you will find your organization's teams with the current number of trainers and athletes.

You can create a new team from this page, or click an existing team to change the settings.

From the Settings tab, you can change the team name and configure a few additional settings

Limit number of athletes

This settings controls how many athletes may be added to a team, you will see the number of current athletes for this team at the bottom

No Limit: any number of athletes can be added to the team

Single Athlete: limit this team to one athlete. If your organizations has individual athletes with one ore more trainers, this might be the right setting. You will then have one team per individual athlete. (See Single-athlete teams for more information)

Maximum: If you have an upper limit of athletes for a specific team, choose this option. When trying to add more athletes to this team, an error message will be shown.

Athlete visibility

With this, who can send a message to an athlete of this team. Go to this article for more information: Messaging Settings

Team members

On the last two tabs, you can add or remove trainers and athletes. You can filter the current list by name and email, or clicking one of the quick filters to only show active and deactivated users.

Below the list, you can add existing users or create a new user to be added to the team.
