The attendances can be configured from the admin section: Go to Admin > Event Attendance.
General settings
By default, you can only add attendance information to athletes. If you want to also show trainers on the attendance list, activate the checkbox Include trainers in attendance list.
Attendance types
Usually, teams will want to have at least one type for attending and another for not attending (absence). However, it may be interesting to know why someone did not attend and to save this information.
In order to make this as configurable as possible, you can have different types. For each type, you can set whether it means attending or absent and you can provide a label and a short name. The short name is used in the attendance lists and reports
Tip: we recommend using single symbols such as a check mark β for attendance or a β for absence. You can also use one of the symbols we provide.
Removing types
As long as a type is not used anywhere, you can remove it without implications.
However, if you want to remove a type that is used in at least one athlete's attendance to an event, you will see a warning dialog. If you confirm the removal, the associated attendances will be removed too. Please keep this in mind when cleaning up your attendance types.
Removing events with attendance information
When removing a training with attached attendance information, we will automatically remove the associated attendances. The attendances won't show up in the report.
