After putting together the questions for a questionnaire, activate it by setting time (when it can be answered) and audience (who should answer). You can also configure reminders for participants and alarms for supervisors.
On the Edit screen of a questionnaire template, click the Save and activate button and you will see a new form.
At the top of the form, you can adapt the Name and Description of your questionnaire. This will be shown to your users when they respond to the questions.
Dates, weekdays, and time of day - When
Directly below name and description, you can configure the when of your questionnaire. You can set start and end dates and restrict the questionnaires to specific days of the week.
Additionally, if you want your questionnaire to be answered only at a specific time of the day, activate the Limit Time Range for Answers checkbox. You can then enter an earliest and/or latest time. Time is entered in UTC, but you'll see it converted to your local time zone.
Note: this shows the time for your current time zone. If users in regions with different time zones should use the questionnaire, please be aware that their local time differs.
Multiple Responses
By default, a questionnaire can be answered only once per day by each participant. By activating the checkbox in the Multiple Responses section, you can change this behaviour.
Optionally, you can select one of the questions to be used as "discriminator". The discriminator question helps participants to distinguish their answers.
Reminders
Users who haven't answered the questionnaire by the given time, will receive a reminder. Reminders are sent via push notifications, and, in order to receive a notification, users need to activate push notifications.
Alarms
You can define rules to notify the questionnaire supervisors. You can create alarms with a set of rules (e.g. the answer for question 1 is lower than x) and conditions (e.g. rules are fulfilled for 3 days in a row).
Alarms are sent either as push notification or email, and can be viewed from the evaluation page for the questionnaire.
Participants - Who
In this section, you configure who should answer your questionnaire. The list of users is grouped by teams and can be searched. You can assign your questionnaire to all types of users: athletes, trainers, and admins.
Supervisors
In the last section, configure who can assess the answers and change the configuration. By default, this is the person who activates the questionnaire but you can add other users at any time.
By default, only supervisors can access the results for the questionnaire. Use the "Grant access to results to all trainers" checkbox if you want to enable all trainers to view results.
Saving
Once you click the Save button, the questionnaire will become visible for its participants on or after the start date. The questionnaire will now also show up on the Manage and Evaluate overview page in the Active Questionnaires section.
After you have received some answers, you can start to evaluate them.
